Hi Friends! I know it’s been a while since I’ve worked with this blog. For the past year or so I’ve been working on getting a website that is absolutely perfect. (You know I’m a perfectionist – so that’s why it hasn’t happened yet!) I do finally own a domain for my site that I was waiting to open up. YAY! – jenkdesign.com is finally mine!! I’ve decided to update my blog – its just sitting here any ways and share some of my latest work with you!

The past few days I’ve been running into some issues with my website host. Their customer support has been fantastic but my webpage will be temporarily down. It is now my plan to have my website link to this page – and combine my blog and website into one cohesive grouping of pages instead of having various pages *and links* floating around.
Business still continues and I have on my facebook page a Mother’s Day Special – get a family or small group session for one hour for $75, this includes as many outfits or locations that you would like, and a copy of edited images. Need more time than an hour? A two hour session is $120. To guarantee these prices, please schedule your session before May 31, 2013.
*Sessions do not have to be completed in May.
**For an additional $10 – images can be put onto a website to share with friends and family.
While Mother Nature hasn’t made up her mind yet – I’m declaring spring – SPRUNG! We’ve been cooped up too long in this dreary winter darkness. I’m kicking off April with some special packages to get us outside and enjoying the sun!
Spring Special ~ 1 hour session – your location – unlimited outfit changes and locations – Photo Release of images – your choice of usb or cd delivery $50.00 (Must be booked in April – but can be scheduled any time!) Great for kids, families, friends, etc!
Couples Session ~ Book by April 30 to get a 2 hour session – at your favorite places or doing your favorite outdoor activities (boating, horseback riding, golfing, etc.) – Photo Release of images – usb or cd $75.00
On my facebook page – I’ll be sharing images from some upcoming events including another emergency management exercise, a couple maternity sessions, and a few “fun” images.
I’m also looking into opening an etsy store to sell some of my abstract and landscape work. I can’t wait to share it with you once I get it all put together.

Welcome to March! The days are getting longer and we are less than a week away from the 1st Day of SPRING! Spring is one of my favorite seasons (the other being fall) because we are finally ushered out of the dark and dreary winter with beautiful green colors and new blooms coming to life.
February was eventful for Jen K Design as a major renovation took place on my website! Mainly the changes were adding new pages (check out multiple galleries now!), a services page detailing some of the projects I could do for you, and a client log-in page that lets my clients view proofs and share the link with friends and family. Client log-in pages are also password protected so only those who you share the password and link with, will be able to view the proofs.
A new session is making its debut this month.
Maternity Sessions
Maternity Sessions can be as little as one hour and as long as you would like! A one hour session will include at least 10 edited images and the publication rights to print them on your own for $50.00 Images will be available within two weeks of the session.
This spring there are two maternity sessions already booked, so be on the lookout for updates on my facebook page for previews after each session ends.
It is my goal to make sure that a client gets the type of service that makes them comfortable enough to enjoy the session and capture moments that will remain with them for a lifetime. Since we’ve had a dreary winter some of the maternity session images will be outside and hopefully in sunlight!

2) “Get Ready” Wedding Sessions
My favorite events are always revolving around love and relationships. Weddings are a great way for couples to tell their stories and gather some of the most important people in their lives. To commemorate your day I am offering a new session called “Get Ready”. This session can be booked in hour increments and will capture those intimate moments of the bride and her girl friends getting ready; hair, make-up, sharing stories, etc! These images are more artistic and focus on fine details rather than the “big” picture of a bunch of women putting makeup on! Sessions can also include some time with the groom and groomsmen as they toast each other or other share special moments that you would like to capture. If you book a session by May 1, 2013 the rate is $70 per hour, and a small mileage rate for anything farther than 75 miles from Wayne, NE. Session fees include as many images we can capture within the time which will then be edited and then put onto a cd for you. Couples also get a photo release so images can printed at the convenience and flexibility of the couples. Imaged will also be posted on a website dedicated to your event that you can share with friends and family! Prints can also be ordered from that site!

As all of my fans know, I adore nature images and love finding new ways to incorporate my clients into a nature session. I was approached before Christmas to do a winter/snow session. We are working on getting the date lined up but stay tuned for images one I get them online.
